Welcome To Crosswalk Clinic

Varicose Vein Treatment Options

At Crosswalk Clinic, we offer a full range of treatments tailored to your circumstances. Most insurances cover the treatments that we offer. Every patient is unique, and we’ll consult with you about an approach that’s best for your health, comfort, and lifestyle.

Conservative Care

For most people, we will start by teaching you how to care for your legs with simple lifestyle changes, which can begin to improve symptoms. Compression stockings, leg elevation, exercise, and weight management may help reduce swelling, heaviness, and discomfort. A period of conservative care is also typically required before private insurance will pay for other kinds of treatments. After we have worked on improving your symptoms with conservative treatments, we will often recommend one or more of the following procedures that will address the root cause of your varicose veins.

Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT)

This minimally invasive procedure uses laser energy inside the vein to seal it closed. EVLT is performed using local anesthesia, requires only a small entry point, and most patients can return to normal activity right away with some light restrictions.

Varithena® (Microfoam Injection)

Varithena is a specialized injectable foam that gently closes problem veins. It’s a quick, non-surgical treatment that improves both symptoms and appearance, often without downtime, similar to EVLT.

Ambulatory Phlebectomy

For certain visible surface varicose veins, ambulatory phlebectomy offers a solution. Tiny incisions are made with a needle to remove the veins directly, leaving little to no scarring and immediate cosmetic and symptom improvement.
