Healthy legs pave the way to a healthy life. If your legs are holding you back due to discomfort, swelling, or even unsightly veins, Crosswalk Clinic can help. We specialize in a variety of treatments for veins, lymphedema, and lipedema in Spokane, Washington.
At Crosswalk Clinic we don’t just specialize in one problem that can affect your legs, we specialize in getting to the root cause or causes of the problem and treating the whole person. We can treat your circulation problem, the lymphedema or lipedema problem – all in one place, with one team of providers who know you. What we won’t do is treat your veins, send you somewhere else for your swelling, and somewhere else for your wound care. We are going to take care of your leg, period.

When your leg veins aren’t working properly, there will be a buildup of pressure in them. Over time this can result in leg swelling, various symptoms including heavy or tired legs, pain, itching, muscle cramps, or restless legs. Your legs may look normal or they may be discolored (darkened skin near the ankles), develop rashes, spider veins, varicose veins, or in some cases even skin ulcers. If any of these describe your legs, we can help.
There are many causes of lymphedema, the one thing they have in common is a dysfunction of the lymphatic circulatory system. When it’s not functioning properly swelling will almost always develop. It usually begins as mild but can progress to severe edema that doesn’t resolve with elevating the legs. Lymphedema also affects the immune system and can result in severe deformity and disability. We’d like to help well before it gets to that stage, but we can help at any stage.
Lipedema is a genetic condition that occurs almost exclusively in women. It is associated with hormone changes and described as an abnormal fat distribution in the legs. It usually occurs in both legs and can affect the hips, thighs, calves, and ankles or a combination of these; in some cases it may also affect the arms. Interestingly, it rarely affects the feet. If you’ve seen a woman who wears a size small shirt and an XXL in pants, you may have seen someone with lipedema. It often causes pain, pronounced tenderness, fat nodules, easy bruising, and may be accompanied by gastric issues. If this sounds like you, we can help.
The unique thing about Crosswalk is that we provide nearly any leg treatment you could need – all under one roof. There’s no run-around, new referrals, new specialists, and multiple appointments at various specialty clinics for the different types of treatments you require; for example, if you have a venous leg ulcer – we will provide all aspects of care for this – you won’t need a referral for a wound care clinic, a lymphedema therapist at a physical therapy clinic, and a clinician to treat your vein disease at yet another location. It’s simple – we take care of it all; we take care of you. In the event that your medical needs are outside of what we offer, we will be happy to refer you to a trusted specialist in your area (for example, orthopedic or sports medicine for knee or hip pain).
Lyndsay Silver is truly a blessing. She is very considerate and understanding. When I talk to her she truly cares about what I have to say. I am grateful to have met her. It helps that she is pretty funny as well. I recommend anyone that is needing care to go see her!
Lindsey Silver is the most conscientious and knowledgeable practitioner that I have met in a long, long time. She is takes the time to listen to my concerns that thinks through what I need. I highly recommend her.
Lyndsay Silver - NP has been a fantastic add on to the Northern Spokane area. Her office is clean, well kept and her customer service goes above and beyond.
Crosswalk Clinic and Lyndsay Silver have transformed my life! I was referred to them by Providence interventional radiology for bilateral edema and am absolutely thrilled with my results. I am extremely impressed by their expertise, compassion and understanding of my condition. I now have all the tools and knowledge that I need to manage my condition. I also know that if I ever have a question or need additional help, they will be there for me. I highly recommend Crosswalk Clinic to anyone who suffers from lymphadema, lipedema or lower leg wounds. Thank you to Lyndsay and Crosswalk Clinic for my excellent care!!!
I found Crosswalk Clinic earlier this summer when I was searching the Spokane area for MLD providers, and I'm so thankful I did. I was diagnosed with lipedema a few years ago, but Lyndsay is the first provider that's actually had knowledge about treating lipedema (besides surgery). I've learned so much in just a couple months and have made a lot of progress on implementing conservative treatments to help with pain reduction and swelling. Not only is Lyndsay great at what she does, she's also very friendly and immediately puts you at ease. I am extremely thankful to have such an amazing (and rare) resource in our area.
Along with the excellent care received, there was so much to learn. Lyndsay was so good at sensing that and giving me time to learn why I needed treatment. I have been amazed at the results. Lyndsay has also spent the time necessary to train me in all the compression tools and treatments I can wear/perform myself and what symptoms I can watch for to know when I may need to seek additional treatment. I’m so glad my pcp referred me to the Crosswalk Clinic. I highly recommend Lyndsay Silver, APRN.
Lindsay is such an amazing person. She helped me so much with my legs. I'm so happy to have her on my team.
Lyndsay is the best of the best. She cares deeply about her patients and how we are doing. She is more than patient and kind. I love working with her.
