Lyndsay Silver has twenty years of experience as a nurse practitioner. She got her start in cardiology and primary care, gaining skills in procedures and treating the whole person. For the last 9 years she has been treating vein disease in a clinic devoted to veins and it has become a passion. She has trained other clinicians and educated primary care providers about vein disease. When it comes to veins, she’s the person you want treating you.

The more people with vein disease Lyndsay treated in the vein practice, the more variances she noticed. If a person with vein disease is treated properly, their symptoms usually improve, if not completely resolve. But some of her patients didn’t improve and Lyndsay got curious. This prompted her to do some research, and she began to learn more about lymphedema and lipedema. The patients who hadn’t improved had one of these diagnoses as well. At the time, Lyndsay’s place of employment didn’t have a path for these patients, and she would have to refer them to other specialists.

She began to envision a place where patients could come and receive care for all their lower extremity edema problems: vein disease, lymphedema, lipedema, and wounds. She also wanted to be in a clinic where people really cared, patients were listened to, and all the problems that affected the legs could be addressed. A place that wasn’t too hard to find, where parking wasn’t too far, and when a patient walked in the door they were greeted. And from this Crosswalk was born. We hope you can feel the difference.
